Tired kid

As we weaved around the shady trails, the ocean sparkled through the bush.
Lenny babbled and blew raspberries.
He was extra tired from skipping a nap.
Upon seeing the ocean I instantly regretted not bringing gear for swimming. 
Over and under we rock hopped to get closer to the crystal clear water, just for the veiw..
Lenny was silent. He loves the ocean, I believed that he was taking in the sights.
Nope...He was asleep.

Poor Lenny,
We needed to get some kms in today and headed off around the lake. 
The wind was relenetless and hot, like a punch in the face.
We found a protected Sandy flat, sheltered from the conditions and went for a walk deserved swim.
Lenny acquired some very Sandy pants, and we walked the remainder of the trip in wet clothes, to protect from the heat.
10km ticked off and officially past half way.

Walk 2!

Weaving around the coast towards bass point, a shorter walk today due to Lenny teething!
The water is beautifully flat and the temperature mild.
5km down up and down the rocky trails!

Day 1

Big walk for Lenny around port kembla! 
We saw lots of dogs, a kids carnival and lots of seagulls! Lenny was stoked!

I am a street side medics volunteer who work alongside orangesky.
I will be walking 122km with my 10month old baby on my back to support people experiencing homelessness❤

I'm walking for the 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness

Right now, there are 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness. That's 1 in 210 people.

This March, I will be taking part in Walk the Walk and going the distance for the 122,000 people doing it tough in our community.

I'm walking to raise funds for Orange Sky's vital work providing connection through clean laundry, warm showers, and genuine conversation.

Please support my walk to positively connect communities and support people who need it the most.

Together, we can show Aussies experiencing homelessness they're not alone.
